Newegg is running a promotion today allowing you to pick up a 64GB OCZ solid state disk for free with the purchase of select barebones desktop computers. And we’re not talking expensive computers here. Prices start at just $150.
In other words, you can get a small form factor computer with a low power Intel or AMD processor, a 64GB SSD, 802.11n WiFi, and pretty much everything you need in a PC other than RAM and an operating system for less just $150.
A 64GB solid state disk may not provide enough storage for your entire video collection, so I wouldn’t count on building your next home theater PC using this deal. But if you’re looking to put together a cheap PC for basic home computing, you could do a lot worse.
Other deals in today’s roundup include a great price on a first-generation Kindle Fire, some of the latest ultrabooks, and older iPod touch and iPad models.
