There’s a new crop of Windows tablets on the market featuring 8 inch screens, Intel Atom Z3735 Bay Trail processors, and price tags below $200. But these models tend to have less RAM and storage than the first generation of Windows 8 tablets which launched late last year and early in 2014.
The good news is that you can still buy the older tablets — and since they’re older, you can often score pretty good deals on them, especially if you’re willing to buy a refurbished tablet.
Today’s roundup of deals includes a couple 8 inch Windows tablets which sell for $200 or less, plus a deal on a pretty good 8 inch Android tablet.
Here are some of the day’s best deals.

I have a Dell Venue 8 with 16gb RAM and a dual core 2.1ghz processor that I only paid $149 for. It’s hard to beat at that price and it doesn’t run Windows 8 Metro Tiles!
The vyvo a1 mini with z3740d 32gb 2g 1280×800 8″ ips for $120 reigns King all over. There are other rebrandings of the Emdoor EM_8080_V3, but the a1 mini undercuts all of them by at least $20.
Gets so boring, all this low power weak sauce crap for sale. The same stuff with different names over and over and over.
I got a 60 dollar refurbished 7 inch Nook tablet HD on the way. I would say that is pretty exciting.
I said it before and I’ll say it again: its not an E11, its an E3-111-C0WA.
Is there a significant difference or is the pn being truncated needlessly?
Well, at your request, just Googled it, turns out Acer does call these things the E11 (despite the model numbers not having an 11 in them (the 11 in 111 shouldn’t count)). Liliputing’s right, I was wrong, never mind.
