Got an Android phone or tablet? Want to load it up with a bunch of games, but don’t want to spend a bunch of money? You could scour the Google Play Store for free (or “free to play”) games. Or you could check out Google’s 10¢ game sale.
Right now you can pick up titles including Dead Space, Need for Speed Most Wanted, Monopoly and Spy vs Spy for 10 cents each (plus tax… which is about a penny).
My favorite thing about this sale? If you use Google Opinion Rewards to answer occasional surveys, you probably already have plenty of spare pennies worth of Google Play Credit. At this price, answering one survey can easily pay for a game or two.
Here are some of the day’s best deals.

There’s something funky going on with that google sale. I get shown the right price (well, it shows one mexican peso as I’m in Mexico), but when I try to buy it changes it to one swiss franc, i.e. a dollar (and it charged me twice). Can any of you check if that is happening to you too?
To be clear, the first click shows the right price. Then after clicking accept for the permissions it shows the price in CHF (Swiss francs)… so something strange is definitely going on…
Huh… the google play links don’t work for me, and all the games are still on their original price…
What country are you in?
Hungary. I guess I’ll try it on the TOR browser.
Yup, same thing from the Germany, Netherlands and France node.
OK, finally found an US node, but once I’m logged in, it disappears again…
Yeah, this sale is most likely US-only.
Well, it’s their loss, I would have paid 10¢ for it, or maybe even 1$ 🙂
