The Asus ZenBook UX305 series of portable notebooks are thing, light, and generally inexpensive when you consider that many models have at least 8GB of RAM, full HD or higher resolution displays, and other premium features.

Some of the most affordable models have Intel Core M3 processors rather than Core i3 or faster chips. But those models also tend to have fanless designs. And right now the Microsoft Store is offering a pretty great deal on one of those fanless models.

For $599, you can pick up a ZenBook UX305CA with a Core M3 processor, 8GB of RAM, 512GB of storage, and a 1920 x 1080 pixel display.

If you’d rather have a laptop with a Core i5 Skylake processor (and less storage) for the same price, the Acer Aspire S13 I mentioned last week is still on sale for $599 and up too.
