Notebooks with touchscreen displays usually carry high price tags. And then there are the Asus VivoBook X202/Q200 series and Acer Aspire V5. Both of these models are notebooks that sell for $500 or less and which have 11.6 inch displays, Windows 8 software, and capacitive multitouch displays.
The Acer laptops are powered by AMD processors while the Asus models feature Intel Core i3 chips. They’re usually pretty well priced, but today you can pick up an Aspire V5 for just $400, or a refurbished VivoBook Q200E for a hundred dollars less.
