Brad you do a great job with this column, but you should include a bit of info on end of support dates for some of these Chromebooks as they are shockingly SHORT ! They maybe on sale but many will stop receiving updates very soon…this makes them not such a good deal.We are often a but harsh on Microsoft and W/8 but the support is very good and goes on for a very long time.
There’s not a model mentioned in today’s roundup that won’t be officially supported through at least October, 2017. That’s more than 3 years from now and 5 years since the launch of the product itself.

You are right it’s not as bad as I thought, has this list been updated to longer support periods as I remember the support period for Samsung supported SOC based Chromebooks being rather short?
The original policy was at least 4 years since the launch date for an individual Chromebook or Chromebox. This year they updated that to a minimum of 5 years.

That Sero 7 Pro is a great deal at 50 bucks even for a refurbished.
