Amazon’s Fire tablets offer a decent set of features at a reasonably low starting price of $50.
The company also sells Kids Edition models that come with a bumper case, a 2-year “worry free guarantee” and a 1-year subscription to FreeTime Unlimited (for access to kid-friendly apps and games). But prices fro the Kids Edition tablets usually start at $100.
Today Amazon is knocking up to $40 off the starting price though: you can pick up a Fire HD 7 Kids Edition tablet for $70 (marked down from $100) or a Fire HD 8 Kids Edition for $90 (marked down from $130).

I have a Kindle Fire 7 and Kindle Fire 8. The 8 blows away the 7 at almost the same price. More battery life, more storage, a better screen and stereo speakers. I love my Kindle Fire HD 8 so much, I gave away my Kindle fire 7 to a friend for free.
