Microsoft is running a sale on Best Picture Oscar-winning movies that basically lets you pick up 5 movies for free…ish.
Here’s the deal: buy 5 movies for $5 each and you’ll get a $25 Microsoft Gift Store. If you were planning to buy movies, TV shows, games, apps, or other items from the Microsoft Store, that’s kind of like getting 5 movies for free.
And even if you weren’t, $25 is a pretty good price for 5 movies. The only catch is that you’ll need a Windows device such as a PC, phone, or Xbox to watch them, since Microsoft doesn’t offer apps for Roku, Android TV, Apple TV, or Amazon Fire TV.
Here are some of the day’s best deals.

I personally will never buy media from Microsoft ever again. Their decision not to join Movies Anywhere was the last straw with me. I’ve purchased movies from them before but now think of them as bad rentals. I wish I could get my money back.
