The HTC One M7Â is a smartphone with a 4.7 inch, full HD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and a 2300mAh battery.
Launched in 2013, the phone isn’t exactly state-of-the-art, but it’s still got a good display, decent build quality, and a processor that’s faster than those found in many phones that were released more recently.
If you don’t need the latest superphone, the HTC One M7 is a pretty good option… especially now that you can pick up a contract-free, AT&T compatible model from Best Buy for just $150.

So is this price with or without a contract? Also is it unlocked so I can pop a T-Mobile SIM in it?
Without contract, but you’ll need to unlock it. Not sure if AT&T provides free unlocking to full-price off-contract phones, but I suspect they do. I got my old AT&T phone unlocked in five minutes using the AT&T phone unlock site recently after my 2-year contract was up.
I have that 64GB ADATA microsd card in my phone, with 40GB of music on it. Works well. Tigerdirect shipping was slow (USPS). The first one that arrived was also crushed and had to be RMA’d, but they didn’t make it difficult and the replacement came pretty fast.
Has anyone confirmed the contract-free? It’s listed with contract on BestBuy’s site.
Nope. Just add it to your cart and check out and it’ll only be $150. There’s no need to sign up for an AT&T contract. It’s an AT&T phone, but you don’t need a service plan to get the price.
If you look at the listings for the newer HTC One M8, you’ll note that the prices all say “with 2-year contract.”
Odd. It’s listed under the phones with plan category, and mentions an early termination fee.
is this cyanogenmod or custom andoir friendly? I’m really sick of the lockin crap that AT&T hit me with the samsung galaxy s4.
Amazing deal on the original HTC one. Why would anyone buy a new mid or low tier phone when this type of deal is available?
