The Acer Aspire Switch 10 is a Windows tablet with an Intel Atom quad-core Bay Trail processor and a detachable keyboard dock that transforms the tablet into a notebook. It gets its Switch name not only because it can switch between laptop and tablet modes though, but because you can also pop out the tablet, flip it around so it faces away from the keyboard, and snap it back into place so the keyboard becomes a sort of kickstand.
I reviewed an Aspire Switch 10 this summer, and found it to be a pretty nice little 2-in-1, although it was a little more expensive than the Asus Transformer Book T100 at the time, while offering less battery life.
Right now you can pick up a Switch 10 for a pretty great price though: Microsoft is selling it for just $249. Note that the model Microsoft is selling has a slightly less powerful processor than the version I reviewed .
