As the holiday approaches the Microsoft Store is running 12 days of deals, and so is Amazon. Today is also a made-up sales holiday called Green Monday, which some online retailers say is their busiest shopping day of the year.

What I’m saying is… there are a lot of deep discounts to be had today. Amazon is selling some of its 7 inch tablets for half price. Microsoft is selling a 7 inch Windows tablet for just $79 (but I’d suggest paying an extra $20 for the HP model which has a higher-resolution screen). And Google is giving away $20 in Play Store Credit to folks who buy a new Chromecast over the next few weeks.

  1. Bah, I just ordered the $179 Asus C300 2gb model. I would have waited for the 4gb model to go on sale. Oh well.
