Technically, Black Friday is tomorrow, but plenty of stores are already offering Black Friday prices on select items… and some stores are just throwing tradition to the wind and running Thanksgiving Day sales that end before Black Friday even begins.

I beefed up my fleet of Google Home units with 4 added Minis on the way. Got two from Google direct as the ‘coral’ color is exclusive to them it seems. They are giving $10 gift cards with each unit but seem quite restrictive. Won’t be mailed for four weeks and then good only until the end of Jan 2018 and only for Google hardware products it seems. That’s from memory so…
Got a couple more from Best Buy. They are doing $10 Best Buy e-gift cards. Seems like they will arrive much sooner and I think have no end date.
If nothing else I can use the Best Buy e-gift cards to get Google Play Store cards. That makes them oddly more flexible to buy other Google product than Google’s own gift card offering.
Target had roughly the same deal but showed only available in store for me where Best Buy was happy to ship it. So Best Buy it is.
