The Lenovo Ideapad 720S is a 3.5 pound notebook with a 14 inch display, slim bezels, and a body that measures about 12.6″ x 8.8″ x 0.6″. In other words, it’s smaller than you’d expect a 14 inch notebook to be… but it still packs a fair bit of power.

Earlier this year Lenovo launched a model with support for up to an Intel Core i7-7500U dual-core processor and NVIDIA GeForce 940MX graphics.

But now you can buy a model with a speedier Core i5-8250U quad-core processor for $800. That’s how much Micro Center is charging at the moment.

Lenovo also plans to offer a model of this laptop with a Ryzen Mobile chip by the end of the year.
