Laptops with 8th-gen Intel Core processors are starting to ship… and notebooks with AMD Ryzen mobile processors should hit the streets soon, and both should offer a series performance boost over portable computers with previous-generation chips.
But if you’re more concerned with saving money than with bleeding edge performance, you can still save a lot of money by picking up last year’s tech today.
Case-in-point: I found a bunch of deals today on previous-gen convertible notebooks with Intel Kaby Lake, Skylake, and Cherry Trail chips.

So where are those notebooks with AMD Ryzen mobile chips? Also have not seen reviews for any of those notebooks anywhere days after launch. Strangely AMD only had three partners (Acer, HP and Lenovo) on launch with notably Dell and ASUS missing.
I bought a brand new champagne gold Yoga Book from e-TechGalaxy last week. Shipping was extremely quick. Device was shrinkwrap new. So far it is a terrific and unconventional device. It is well on its way to replacing my iPad Pro. “This ain’t your grandfather’s android tablet”. 😀
