The HP Slate 21 looks like a desktop monitor, but acts like an Android tablet. It features a 21.5 inch, 1920 x 1080 pixel IPS display with 2-point multitouch support, an NVIDIA Tegra 4 ARM Cortex-A15 processor, and runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean software.
You can use it as a standalone device for surfing the web, playing games, editing documents, or other tasks using the touchscreen and a keyboard and mouse. And if the 8GB of built-in storage isn’t enough you can take advantage of the SD card reder or one of the 3 USB ports to add extra storage.
Unfortunately there’s no way to augment the 1GB of RAM. Other specs include WIFi, Ethernet, and Bluetooth capabilities.
The HP Slate 21 normally sells for about $399, but right now you can pick one up for $50 off.

$350 is tempting for a PC for the kitchen. It could replace the old calendar on the wall and have internet for recipes. The 8 GB of ram is little disappointing. It makes you wonder if HP will have a fire sale on these guys someday. I still use my HP touchpad from the last one.
Its not 8 GB of RAM. Its 1GB RAM and 8GB storage which is pathetic.
$350 is a way too much for viewing recipies. If you have your smartphone, tablet nearby why would you need a pc with tablet functionality? For this a good dedicated device would be some kind of $100 tablet.
“…with 2-point multitouch support”
whyyyyyyyyyyyyyy?!
When is 10-point multitouch going to be the standard?
Not to mention the paltry 8 gig of storage.
No thinking caps were harmed in the design and manufacture of this device.
