A few weeks ago a number of stores started selling Nextbit’s Robin smartphone for $199, which is a deep discount from the list price of $299.
But you know what’s an even better price? $179. And that’s how much MobilePros1 is selling the phone for right now.
The Nextbit Robin is an odd little phone with a 5.2 inch display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage. That’s not the odd part though: the phone runs a customized version of Android designed to backup your apps and data to Nextbit’s servers… and remove apps you use infrequently in order to save space. Just tap the icon on your phone to re-download any missing apps when you need them.
Too weird for you? No problem. The phone also has an unlockable bootloader and a strong community of developers building custom ROMs for the phone.
