Mesh WiFi routers are designed to help prevent you from getting wireless dead spots in your home. Rather than placing a single router in a central location and hoping for the best, the idea is to buy two or more routers and position them throughout the house so that your wireless signal covers more ground.
Buying a 2-pack or 3-pack of routers is usually a lot more expensive than buying a single device. But today Newegg is offering a 3-pack of Tenda Nov MW6 mesh WiFi routers for just $100 when you use the coupon EMCTCVA34.
That’s about what you’d pay for a decent 802.11ac WiFi router. I’d recommend sifting through the reviews at Newegg before ordering though — while some folks are very happy with the Tenda MW6, others are… not.
Here are some of the day’s best deals.
- Tenda Nova MW6 whole-home mesh WiFi router 3-pack for $100 – Newegg (coupon: EMCTCVA34)
- Anker Soundcore Motion+ portable Bluetooth speaker for $80 – Amazon
- Refurb NES Classic Edition retro game console for $50 – Nintendo (via eBay)
- Buy a Lenovo laptop, get a tech accessory for 1 penny – Lenovo Back to School sale
- Moonlighter & This War of Mine PC games for free – Epic Games Store
- Best Buy Black Friday in July early access sale – Best Buy (My Best Buy members only)
If you have cable outlets throughout your house, use MOCA coaxial networking instead of mesh wifi. Cheaper and WAY better.
