Monoprice is selling a cheap pair of true wireless earbuds for $12. Need an extra pair in case you lose one or want to share with a friend or family member? You can pick up a 2-pack for $22 when you use the coupon 2FOR22 for $2 in savings.

That’s a lot of twos. But you actually get 4 earbuds in a 2-pack. Go figure.

Here are some of the day’s best deals.

  1. I was going to pull the trigger on the $12 Monoprice ear buds, but I read the FAQs first and saw the deal-killer below. I’m not going to carry the case around all the time just to be able to turn the buds back on if they time-out and turn off.

    Q. It seems these go to sleep if they are not being used. Then they shut off completely and will not start again until placed in the case. How long is ‘sleep’, and how long before it shuts off completely? Is there any way to start them again once turned off without putting them back in the case? Tapping does not work.

    A. They don’t sleep. They power down after 5 minutes. You have to put them in the case for a few seconds to reset them. FROM THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL: “Remove the earphones from the charging case to power them on. Insert the earphones into the charging case to power them off. Note: If the earphones are not able to establish or maintain a connection for 5 minutes, they will automatically power off. To power them back on, insert them into the charging case, then remove them.”
