CTL is now taking pre-orders for its 10 inch 2goPad tablet computer. The 2GoPad has a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N2450 processor and a 10.1 inch, 1024 x 600 capacitive multitouch display. The tablet runs Windows 7 and comes with some custom software designed to make Windows more finger-friendly.

CTL first teased the tablet back in April, but it won’t actually begin shipping until October 15th. As expected, the tablet will run $499.

Additional specs include 2GB of memory, a 250GB hard drive, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth, Ethernet, 2 USB ports, and VGA output as well as a microSD card slot and 1.3MP camera. The tablet measures 10.3″ x 6.6″ x .72″ and weighs about 2.6 pounds. CTL says you should get about 5 hours of run time out of the 4 cell Li-ion battery.
