Cisco has been positioning its upcoming Cius tablet as an enterprise device, but if a new TV spot from the company is anything to go by, it may soon be available to the general public as well.

The ad shows a number of different people using the Cius tablet to make video calls, and not one of those people are in a corporate setting. We see a man checking in on a schoolroom while riding a train, a mother talking to her son, and a whole lot of people video chatting on other devices — presumably using Cisco technology.

There’s no word on when Cisco will offer the Cius tablet at retail or how much it will cost, but the company is currently taking orders from enterprise customers. The 7 inch Android tablet is expected to begin shipping in limited quantities later this month.

Update: It looks like this video has actually been online for a few months, but I just noticed it on TV while watching CNN recently.
