Like the idea of the Kohjinsha dual-screen netbook (pictured below), but don’t feel like spending $1000 on a top-heavy netbook with a slide-out extra display? CINQ offers a simpler (and cheaper) solution. Just pick up a CINQ display and plug it into your laptop via a USB connection to add a secondary 10.1 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel LCD to your PC.

What sets the CINQ apart from similar USB display solutions is the fact that you can either prop it up with a stand or attach it to the side or top of your laptop display. I’m guessing that you might want to choose the stand option if you’re going to use this with a light weight netbook. A second screen isn’t much good if it makes your laptop fall over. The display weighs just under a pound.

The CINQ uses up to 2.8W of power and displays 262k colors. The display will sell for $249, although CINQ is offering $50 off that price for customers who pre-order now.
