Chinese device maker Chuwi recently unveiled a new 2-in-1 Windows tablet with a Surface Book-like 13.5 inch, 3000 x 2000 pixel display, a detachable keyboard, and support for pen input.

But the upcoming Chuwi Hi13 is going to be a lot cheaper than a Surface Book.

While Microsoft currently charges $1299 and up for its premium notebook, Chuwi has announced that the Hi13 will sell for just $369. It should be available starting February 20th.

Chuwi’s tablet is powered by an Intel Celeron N3450 processor and features 4GB of RAM and 64GB of eMMC storage, plus a microSD card slot for up to 128GB of removable storage.

There’s a 10,000 mAh battery with support for 24 watt fast charging. And the tablet has a USB Type-C port, a micro HDMI port, dual band WiFi support, four speakers, a 5MP rear camera, and a 2MP front-facing camera.

There are also two full-sized USB ports in the detachable keyboard section.

Chuwi says the tablet will work with an optional Chuwi HiPen H3 digital pen, which has yet to be released, or existing pens including the company’s HiPen H1.

Is this a Surface Book killer? Not really. Microsoft’s tablet has a faster processor, optional discrete graphics, a unique laptop-centric design, and many other features that Chuwi’s tablet lacks. But the Hi13 may be an interesting alternative for folks who don’t want to spend more than $1000 just to get a 13.5 inch, 3000 x 2000 tablet.
