Newegg is offering a refurbished Asus Eee PC 1018PB netbook for $199.99 when you use the promo code EMCKEJC58. This 10 inch netbook has a brushed aluminum case, a 10.1 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel display and a 1.66 GHz Intel Atom N450 processor.
The mini-laptop has 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive, 802/11b/g/n WiFI, 3 USB ports, a VGA port and a microSD card slot as well as a 6 cell battery. This model launched last year, but honestly, the specs aren’t all that different from most netbooks on the market today and the price is a whole lot better.
Newegg is also offering an open box special on the Eee PC 1001PX for $193. This model’s not quite as fancy looking as the Eee PC 1018PB, but the basic specs are pretty much the same. Aside from case design, the biggest difference is that you get 2 USB ports instead of 3.
