Asus will apparently be offering a gold version of the Eee PC 900A netbook. No, it won’t be made of gold. It’ll just be painted gold… or what in the paint world passes for gold. And as far as I know the price won’t go up. You know, because it’s just paint and all.

Sascha at Eee PC News.de has a bunch of pictures. He says there will also be a dark blue version available.

  1. That’s a pretty anemic looking gold color! I prefer the blue model (reminds me of the Acer Aspire one), but it’s all moot since the 900A isn’t being sold in the U.S.
