Hot on the heels of one of the first Asus Eee PC 1008HA reviews, we have one of the first unboxing galleries, courtesy of Electric Pig. There’s really not much more to say. The computer is clearly thinner and lighter than any other 10 inch netbook in the Asus Eee PC line, and it’s thinner than most 10 inchers from other companies as well.

Asus appears to be sticking with its green and white box motif, although the cover of the Eee PC 1008HA box features a picture of the laptop on the beach, which is in keeping with the idea that the design was inspired by seashells.

The netbook is due out in the UK on or around May 15th. It’ll cost about £379 or the equivalent of $571 US.
