eb1012

A few weeks ago French news site Blogeee published the first pictures and specs of the upcoming Asus Eee Box EB1012. Now Asus has gone and made the latest member of its Eee Box family official, complete with a web page and everything.

The Eee Box EB1012 is pretty much the same size and shape as other members of the Eee Box lineup, which is to say it’s awfully small, measuring just 8.7″ x 7″ x 1.1″ and weighing just about 2.4 pounds. But this model packs a bit more punch than most of its siblings thanks to the dual core Intel Atom 330 CPU and NVIDIA ION graphics.

The nettop also has 2GB of RAM (with support for up to 4GB), a 250GB hard drive, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, 6 USB ports, an eSATA port, Ethernet, and 5.1 channel audio. It also has D-Sub and HDMI outputs.
