The 2009 Liliputing Holiday Giveaway has now drawn to a close. Over the past few weeks we’ve given away some awesome prizes, and I wanted to thank the sponsors once again: NVIDIA, Asus, GearZap, Ultimate-Netbook, and Lite-On.

And of course, thanks again to everyone who entered. Here’s a list of all the winners, many of whom should already have received their prizes:

If you didn’t win this time, stick around. I’m sure we’ll have more goodies to give away in the year to come.

  1. Brad: Well I now have the results here of the interviews and the aptitude tests that you took last week, and from them we’ve built up a pretty clear picture of the sort of person that you are. And 1 think I can say, without fear of contradiction, that the ideal prize for you is NOTHING.

    Monkey: But I wanted to be a HP 311 owner…. I’ve got a hat.

Brad: Yes, yes, yes, I do follow, Monkey, but you see the snag is… if I now call Mr Chipperfield and say to him, ‘look here, I’ve got a forty-five-year-old chartered accountant with me who wants to win a HP 311’, his first question is not going to be ‘does he have his own hat?’ He’s going to ask what sort of experience you’ve had with winning fabulous prizes.

Monkey: [sigh] Well I’d have more experince if you’d given me one….

Brad: (turning to camera) Well this is just one of the all too many cases on our books of chartered accountancy. The only way that we can fight this terrible debilitating social disease, is by informing the general public of its consequences, by showing young people that it’s just not worth it. So, so please… don’t give Monkey a prize ever.

      1. There is always spray paint if you every have a Hello Kitty prize…
