Google is beginning to roll out a minor update to Android, bringing some small tweaks and a whole lot of new emoji to its smartphone and tablet operating system.
Ars Technica reports that Android 6.0.1 brings a few user interface changes and a whole lot of new emojis. The update also includes the latest security improvements.

If you use Android 6.0.1 on a tablet some tablets, you may notice that the navigation buttons are no longer centered at the bottom of the screen. Instead the back and home buttons are on the left side, while the recents button is on the right. This should make it easier to reach buttons with your thumbs when holding a tablet in two hands.
You can also now choose “until next alarm” as an option for Do Not Disturb mode again. This is a feature that had been available in Android 5.1, but which was removed in Android 6.0.
The update also brings a whole bunch of new Unicode 8 emoji, which requires an operating system update because they’re part of the default system font.
Don’t want to wait for an over the air update? Google has released Android 6.0.1 factory images for the Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6, Nexus Player, Nexus 9, Nexus 5, and Nexus 7 (2013).
New emojis. Yay. That’s like new hats for TF2.
