Amazon is running sales on Kindle devices in advance of Valentine’s Day. You can pick up a Kindle eReader in Europe for €59 (about €20 off the regular price) or in the UK for £59 (about £10 off).

That deal isn’t available in the US, but if you’re in the states you can save up to $50 on a Kindle Fire HD tablet.

Amazon Kindle Fire HD

Amazon’s 8.9 inch tablet normally starts at $299, but now you can pick up a WiFi-only model for $269 and up or a 4G LTE model for $449 and up .

You just need to enter the coupon code “FIRELOVE” (without quotes) when you check out.

The Kindle Fire HD is a tablet with an 8.9 inch, 1920 x 1200 pixel display, a TI OMAP 4470 dual core processor, PowerVR SGX 544 graphics, and 16GB or more of storage. It runs a heavily customized version of Google Android designed to work with Amazon’s digital book, music, movie, and app stores.

Hackers are also well on their way to turning the Kindle Fire HD into a full-fledged Android 4.2 tablet with CyanogenMod 10.1.
