Amazon is adding two new options for its Fire HD 10 tablet: an aluminum case, and 64GB of storage.
When Amazon launched the Fire HD 10Â in September, 2015 it was only available with up to 32GB of storage and a plastic case, but now you can choose three color/material options: black, white, or silver aluminum.
Prices for all three versions are the same:
- $230 for 16GB of storage
- $260 for 32GB of storage
- $290 for 64GB of storage (although only the silver aluminum version is currently available with 64GB).
The tablet features a 10 inch, 1280 x 800 pixel IPS display, a 1.5 GHz quad-core MediaTek processor, a microSD card slot, and 802.11ac WiFi. There’s a 5MP camera on the back and a 720p camera on the front, and the tablet weighs about 15 ounces.
Like all Fire tablets, the Amazon Fire HD 10 runs a custom version of Google Android called Fire OS.
