Alcatel OneTouch introduced its first smartwatch at the Consumer Electronics Show in January, promising it’d be available this quarter for $150.

Right on schedule, the Alcatel OneTouch Watch goes up for pre-order today.

It’s a rather stylish-looking watch with a 1.22 inch, 240 x 204 pixel round display and support for 2 to 5 days of run time from a 210 mAh battery.

If you’re wondering why the company is promising longer battery life than you’d get from smartwatches with bigger batteries from Samsung, Motorola, and others, that’s because the Alcatel OneTouch Watch runs a low-power operating system which comes with a handful or apps and features pre-loaded… but at least for now, there’s no support for third-party apps.

That means you don’t have the versatility that comes with an Android Wear, Tizen, or Apple Watch device. But you also don’t have the power-hungry operating system. Meanwhile the Alcatel OneTouch Watch is arguably better looking than Pebble’s line of smartwatches which also offer long battery life (and third-party app support), but which cost more if you want a model with a color screen.

So what can you do with the Alcatel OneTouch Watch? You can pair it with an iPhone or Android phone to receive notifications, control music playback, track steps, or monitor your heart rate. You can also choose from a range of watch faces.

The watch has a vibration motor for alerts, an IP67 dust and water-resistant case, NFC and Bluetooth 4.0, and sensors including an accelerometer, gyroscope, altimeter, e-compass, and heart rate sensor.
