Chinese tablet maker Ainol plans to launch a new Android tablet with a 10 inch, 1920 x 1200 pixel display and a quad-core ATM 7029 processor this month. It’s called the Ainol Novo 10 Captain, and it’s basically what you get if you take the recently introduced Ainol Novo Hero II and give it a higher resolution display.
The Ainol Novo 10 Captain isn’t available yet, but you can pre-order a model with 8GB of storage from ainol-novo.com for $213, or a 16GB model from Dealsprime for $260.
I have no experience with either retailer, so proceed with caution (always a good idea when ordering tablets imported from China from this sort of reseller).
The Ainol Novo 10 Captain has a 10,000mAh battery, a 1.5 GHz quad-core CPU, Mali 400 gaphics, 1GB of RAM, and a microSD card slot, mini USB port, and HDMI output. It has a 2MP rear camera and a VGA front-facing camera.
The tablet supports WiFi and Bluetooth.
it has mali 400 4core.
It doesn’t have Mali400 MP*2 or MP*4 GPU… Instead, Ainol put a crap Vivante GC1000 GPU.. A DualCore GPU that performs worst than SingleCore Mali400 GPU…
Good Luck finding compatible Heavy 3D Games on it…
Best-looking deal on a 10″ tablet I’ve seen so far.
I love the pixel display and the 10000 mAh battery that it has. The only stuff I don’t like is the MP in the back and front-facing camera, but other than that, it looks like a nice tablet.
This tablet looks and sound amazing i just really hope its as good as it sounds and can be rooted and modded
He said, “Captain” I said, “Wot?”

In all seriousness, I LOVE the specs companies like this put into their tablets, it’s just the ongoing support for stuff like bug fixes that ends up being a disappointment. So often it gets left to incredibly cool hard working enthusiasts to do this. I’d like to think it won’t be the case with this one, because it looks damn nice.
