Just in case you had any doubts that the Aeeeris tablet PC kit for the Eee PC was real, you can now see it in action. A German user has posted a YouTube video showing an Eee PC that has been converted into a tablet using the Aeeeris kit.
The kit provides you with the tools to turn an Eee PC 700 series netbook into a tablet PC. Well, some of the tools anyway. You’ll still need to pick up a 7 inch touchscreen for your netbook from eBay or another source. But the Aeeeris kit provides a custom case for your new screen and all the other guts of your old netbook.
Keep in mind, your results may vary depending on which touchscreen you buy and what software you use for handwriting recognition, on-screen keyboards, or other features. The Aeeeris kit is available for purchase for about $60.
You can check out a video of the converted netbook after the break.

Yeah the video is in German. The guy actually had to use leather anf gum to make the thing work (no joke) and it still doesn’t fit correctly. Consider yourself warned, this is NOT a kit and NOT worth $60!
The maker of the product is a pathological liar as shown by his posts time and time again and is now rip-off artist by not dealing with legitimate complaints about the crappy product.
Doesn’t look like a very good kit from what i have heard, check out the forums where many users are complaining about it.

What would be the lifesaver F8 or F9 if (when) the slighest virus enter the coffin?
no wait, its windows XP, so no problem with viruses right?
The guy who developed this is really missing the big picture here. He really needs to sell a complete kit.
