acer iconia tab a100 fcc listing

Acer still hasn’t announced an official US release date for its new 7 inch Android tablet, but the folks at Wireless Goodness spotted an FCC listing for the Acer Iconia Tab A100 today, suggesting that the tablet is on its way Stateside.

The tablet will be one of the first to feature a 7 inch display and run Google Android 3.x Honeycomb. Most Honeycomb tablets have larger 10 inch screens. Acer already has a 10 inch model called the Iconia Tab A500, which features similar specs, but a higher resolution display.

The Iconia Tab A100 will have a 1024 x 600 pixel display, a 1 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual core processor, 512MB of RAM, front and rear cameras, and 8GB of storage.

  1. I can’t wait to read Brad’s review of this where he benchmarks it against a desktop gaming pc. Should be a fun review!
