Acer launched the “Spin” line of convertible notebooks last year, offering customers the option of using computers with 13 or 14 inch displays in laptop or tablet modes.

Now Acer is bringing Spin design to its TravelMate line of notebooks, which are typically aimed at business and/or education markets.

The Acer TravelMate Spin B1 is a notebook with an 11.6 inch display, a durable display, stylus support, and long battery life.

This particular model is designed for classroom use, and Asus emphasis its pressure-resistant screen, shock-absorbent rubber bumper, and spill-resistant keyboard.

Acer says the notebook also supports Windows Ink for writing and drawing, comes with a stylus, and offers up to 13 hours of battery life.

The TravelMate Spin B1 will likely come to the United States in the second quarter of 2017.

Pricing and availability will vary by region, but the fact that the TravelMate Spin B1 has an Intel Pentium processor suggests it’ll be a relatively affordable device (and not necessarily a top choice for customers that need bleeding-edge processor speeds).

Other features include 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, an HDMI port, two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 2.0 ports, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and an SD card reader.
