Acer may be preparing to launch a new tablet running Google Android 4.1.2 and featuring an NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor. Yeah, that sounds a lot like the recently released Acer Iconia Tab A110 — but according to test results from GLBenchmark, the Acer Iconia Tab A220 has a higher resolution display. I suspect it also has a larger screen..

The Iconia Tab A220 benchmark results show a screen resolution of 1280 x 752. In the real world that probably equates to a 1280 x 800 pixel screen. The Iconia Tab A110 has a 7 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel display.
Acer already has a couple of tablets in its A2xx series. The Iconia Tab A200 has a 10 inch, 1280 x 800 pixel screen and an NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual core processor, while the Iconia Tab A210 has a 10 inch screen and Tegra 3 quad-core CPU.
In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if the Iconia Tab A220 was just a new name for the A210 which was introduced this summer, and which is available for pre-order in the US for about $350.
