The Acer Aspire Revo 3700 is the newest mini-desktop in Acer’s line of low power nettops. This model has a 1.8GHz Intel Atom D525 CPU and second generation NVIDIA ION graphics.
Peter from Netbook News got a chance to check one out, and he’s posted some unboxing and first look photos. Of course, I’m much more interested in finding out what kind of performance the nettop offers than how it looks, but part of the appeal of any tiny desktop is clearly the slim design, and the AspireRevo seems like it would look just as good next to your TV as Nintendo Wii or Lenovo IdeaCentre Q150, once you take all those stickers off, anyway.
Physically the nettop looks pretty much the same as earlier computers in Acer’s Aspire Revo line, though. What’s really new here are the processor and graphics card.
The model Peter is looking at has 2GB of DDR3 memory and a 320GB hard drive, Windows 7 Home Premium, 6 USB ports, VGA, HDMI, and S/PDIF ports, as well as 802.11b/g/n WiFi.
