Amazon UK has started taking pre-orders for the Acer Iconia Tab A100, a 7 inch tablet with a dual core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor and Google Android 3.0 Honeycomb. It’s expected to ship on April 20th, and it’s selling for £299.99, or about $485 US — although the tablet will likely be cheaper in the US, as most electronics are.
The tablet has a 1024 x 600 pixel capacitive touchscreen display, a 5MP rear camera and 2MP front camera, WiFi, Bluetooth, and an HDMI port. There will also be a 3G enabled version of the tablet, but it will likely carry a higher price tag.
The 10 inch Acer Iconia Tab A500 with a higher resolution 1280 x 800 pixel display is also up for pre-order in the UK, but it carriers a much heftier price of £449.99, or about $727. The 10 inch model has 32GB of storage and 1GB of RAM, while I believe the 7 inch model has 8GB of storage and 512MB of memory, although there appear to be a few typos in the product page (I’m pretty sure it doesn’t have 512KB of RAM).

Looks like somebody at Acer likes Nokia smartphones.
add a bluetooth phone headset to that thing and it’s all you need for a mobile device.
