  1. Wow what a giveaway! I want it all, however if my grandson were to ask real nicely I might be persuaded to part with Kung-Fu Panda on Blu-ray disc.

  2. I would upgrade for myself and then give away the rest to people who need it. WOW!! would that ever be wonderful.

  3. This giveaway comes at this blessed time of sharing what we have with others to make their lives better. If I win, I will have a great time distributing all these electronic goodies. Over 600 students will benefit from the magic!

I am an elementary art teacher in an urban school district in Kansas. Our student population is very diverse which brings our school strength, joys and challenges. While the classroom teachers are given the latest technology, specials teachers–art, music, physical education and library–get ours much later, if at all. Usually we have to jump through major hoops, such as writing and administrating grants, to gain access to technology. To honor these dedicated professionals I will be sharing the laptops, printers and software with the other five people in my specials team.

The HP Pavilion DV4 Entertainment Notebook PC and HP HDX 18 series Premium Notebook PC would have excellent visual and auditory capabilities for the music and art classes. The touch screen features of the HP TouchSmart IQ816 PC would make it ideal for working with our learning disabled and English for Speakers of Other Languages students. The HP Mini 1000 would be perfect to take to district meetings to take notes or for our Physical Education teachers to track their students’ progress. The HP MediaSmart Connect would help students access television programming, such as when the Winter Olympic Games are broadcast in 2010. The specials team recently completed a school wide unit on the Summer Olympic Games in Beijing.

Because it is wireless, our entire specials team could share the HP Photosmart C6380 wireless AIO printer. Visual examples would be more appealing to students in color than black and white–especially on the quality paper of the HP 564 Photo Value Pak.

The software will make all of the hardware work to its capacity. With the Corel VideoStudio X2 teachers and parent volunteers in the PTO will have a great time making videos and slides shows of school activities to share at Parent Nights at the school.

We can’t show Kung Fu Panda at school, because it is rated PG, but my sons and nephew would love this DVD.

Thanks for the opportunity to reach the hearts and minds of children through the magic of technology.

  4. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone! I would love to keep one of the notebooks. I would love to have the opportunity to donate the rest of the computers to an amazing children’s center and home called the Hillside Children’s Center in our town. This is a place for both children without parents and/or children who has been abused and it is a wonderful safe place for them to stay. They need so much there and many of the children are of the age where they need computers to work on their homework and school projects. I am more than willing to work with Liliputing to insure that this is indeed where my computers are going. I have wanted to be able to give back to my community in a manner that is significant and will truly make a positive influence to more than just one person. I clearly see this as an opportunity that perhaps will allow me to achieve this wish and desire that I have! I want to thank you so much for the opportunity to enter your incredible giveaway!

  5. I was laid off from my job last month. A new faster computer would be great to have while I search for a new job. I have a friend who was also laid off a couple months earlier; I’d give her one of the laptops to replace her aging one.

  6. I am so blessed in my life! If I won this package, I would have to really check them all out, but then I would package them back up and find someone to give them to and to help them have a Merry Christmas! Thanks for this great giveaway!

  7. One of the computers and the printer, I would send to my in-laws, who don’t have a computer. I think they’ll appreciate being able to exchange e-mails and photos with their children and their granddaughter.

I work at a non-profit community theatre. We’re lucky to have the old and overworked computers that we have. I’ll give one of the notebooks to the theatre, purely for selfish reasons, so I have a decent machine to work with.

For one other notebook, I will find a deserving and computer-less person to bless this holiday season. We have so many people in Escambia County who are below poverty level or who lost everything in Hurricane Ivan. The hard part will be choosing one person out of so many needy people.

I will keep the fourth computer and the media connect as my own Christmas gift.

  8. I’d like to donate a portion of the gift to ‘Turning Point’ a shelter for battered women and their children near my house. A gift like this would help heal families torn apart by violence. With a resource like a computer these women who have been beaten down could begin to put the pieces back together despite their isolation at the shelter. The possibilities would go from hopeless to hopeful to be able to look for work, arrange a new school and place to live. I would be very happy to put some HP magic in the path of someone who really needs it and appreciates it.

  9. This is an amazing giveaway! I would keep a notebook for myself (not sure which one yet), and give the other computers to my family. I would keep the printer, since i’m going back o college this is a necessity. Both my sister and I can use the Microsoft Office Home and Student Edition 2007.

  10. I would only keep only the laptop for hubby and give my mother one also since her 5 yr old computer has about had it. We have been short on money this christmas with hubby being laid off so with this I could really give alot of the family a great xmas.

  11. I am a single Mom with 4 teens. We are in need of a new PC in the worst way. Two of the kids are in college and two are in high school. This would be the perfect family gift. Each of the kids would have portable access to the net and the family could share the Touchsmart PC, (but it would be mostly mine, though). A printer would also help so much with homework! Yes this would fix us up. Thanks for a great contest!

  12. We need to upgrade. Neither my husband, nor myself has a notebook, so winning this would be great.

  13. OMG let me see…Christmas might be a little lean this year since DH lost his job to a layoff, and my Social Security isn’t exactly lucrative. So I would probably give most of it to my kids who are in college. They could really use it, but the TouchScreen Notebook is mine!

  14. This prize would be divided up between my husband, myself and my youngest son. We all spend hours on computers each day but for different reasons, and we need different models and add-ons. My husband designs websites, my son writes for two online sport sites, and I’m an avid sweepstaker and browser.

    Thanks for the giveaway!

  15. I do administrative and consulting work at home and this would be invaluable to me. I can stay home and care for my daughter at the same time. So I would keep the prize, and be very grateful

  16. I would share this with my Mother in law. We could use this, but she really NEEDS this. So, it would bless 2 families. Thanks for the chance.

  17. I would probably share it with my daughters family. They are struggling in todays economy and could sure use some help in this area

  18. I would keep soem for myself and donate the rest to family members and our local library

  19. This would just be so great to win. I could make more than one grandchild very happy. Thank you for the chance to win.

  20. Guys, you don’t enter by leaving comments here. If you follow the rules link in the article, it will explain what you have to do.

  21. I have been voted in as President of the San Diego Rockhoppers Walking Club, a club devoted to walking in San Diego County. I would plan on keeping the equipment to that I may manage the club’s activities, and most importantly be able to host a web site so that residents can register online for our activities. Our events are 10K (6 mile) walks around the area on weekends.

  22. I would love to upgrade all the notebook computers in the household. With this package, everybody would have a new one and we could set up our own network. My family would be thrilled.
