The Apple iPad doesn’t have a camera, but Apple does offer a camera connection kit… not for taking photos, but instead for downloading photos from a camera or an SD card. The kit comes with two different adapters. Plug one into your iPad’s docking port and you can connect a camera (or some keyboards) over a USB connection. Hook up the other, and you can use an SD card slot.

But it turns out you don’t need to use two separate dongles to get the job done. A Chinese company has managed to fit both a USB port and an SD card slot onto a single camera connector. Oh yeah, and they threw in a microSD card slot for good measure.
MIC Gadget is taking preorders for the 3-in-1 kit for just under $30, or about a buck more than Apple charges for its two piece solution.
