The Motorola Moto Hint is a tiny Bluetooth headset that you can use to make or take phone calls or control your smartphone with voice actions. Motorola launched the Hint about a year ago, and now it looks like the company has quietly rolled out a new model.

The 2nd-gen Moto Hint offers longer battery life, “improved fit,” and “advanced voice control” features.

You can pick up the new model for $130 from Best Buy or Sprint, and according to the product listing the new Moto Hint gets up to 17 hours of talk time, compared with 10 hours of the original Hint.

Note that you only get that kind of battery life if you use the included charging case to recharge the battery a few times on the go. It’s not entirely clear how much talk time you get without stopping to recharge, but the 2014 Moto Hint could last for about 3.3 hours on a charge.

Josue Joseph has posted a few pictures of the 2015 Moto Hint on Google+ and says the original model already fit pretty well, but confirms that the new model is better.

The $130 price tag is also $20 cheaper than the launch price for the original Moto Hint… although Motorola is currently offering the 1st-gen Hint at a deep discount. You can snag one for $80 right now. Maybe the company is trying to clear out remaining inventory before offering the 2nd-gen model through more retail outlets.
