The Asus Zenbook Pro 16X OLED (UX7602) is a powerhouse of notebook designed for content creation. As the name suggests, it has a 16 inch OLED display, but the notebook also packs up to a 12th-gen Intel Core i9-12900H processor, up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 graphics, a built-in Asus Dial for controlling content creation software.
The laptop also has 6 speakers, 4 microphones, and a full HD webcam.
Asus says the ZenBook Pro 16X OLED’s display is a 4K touchscreen with a 16:10 aspect ratio and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and support for an Asus Pen 2.0 digital stylus with 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity.
The notebook also supports up to 32GB of LPDDR5-5200 memory and up to 2TB of PCIe 4.0 storage with speeds up to 6500 MB/s. And it has a keyboard that tilts upward when the laptop is open, which both gives the keys a tilt and opens some space below the keyboard for improved airflow. The backlit keyboard also supports per-key RGB lighting.
Under the keyboard is a large touchpad with support for Asus NumberPad functionality (allowing you to use the touch area as a numeric keypad) and haptic feedback (it will vibrate as you press a number to emulate the feel of actual keys).
The built-in Asus Dial is a customizable controller that can be used with photo and video editing software or any application that supports the Microsoft Dial.
Other features include a 96 Wh battery, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, HDMI 2.1 and USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, a headset jack, and an SD card reader. The notebook has an aluminum chassis that measures just 16.9mm (0.67 inches) thick.
Asus hasn’t announced when you’ll actually be able to get your hands on this laptop yet, but it’s expected to sell for $2,600 and up when it does eventually hit the streets.
