The HP Envy 13t is a compact laptop with a 13.3 inch display and a body that measures just 12.1″ x 8.3″ x 0.6″. But under the hood it packs a lot of power, with an Intel Core i7-8565U processor, optional support for NVIDIA GeForce MX250 graphics and up to 1TB of PCIe NVMe solid state storage.
While the laptop has a list price of $1000 and up, right now HP is selling it for $730 and up.
For that price you get a model with a 1080p display, a Core i7 CPU, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage.
The most impressive thing about this deal? Upgrades are actually pretty reasonably priced. Want NVIDIA graphics? That’s just $20 more. Want NVIDIA graphics and double the RAM? The price for that configuration is just $870.

Are there any reviews of that specific HP 13t laptop with the MX250 graphics? It sounds like an amazing combo for that price, even if it uses the lower wattage 250. 16GB of RAM, slightly better graphics for under $1000… but I can’t seem to find a current review. They all seem to be about older models.
I know… I’ve been so tempted to buy this while it’s on sale the week, but I can’t quite justify it, having picked up an HP Spectre X360 13 less than six months ago for about the same price – even though my laptop has a less powerful CPU/GPU and half the RAM.
I think I will have to check out their return policy and take a gamble. I am taking a trip back home to the US (don’t live there) and the cheapest Whiskey Lake 13″ laptop with 16GB of RAM is $1200US that I can find so this seems like perfect timing. And that’s not even with any discrete GPU. I wonder how long the sale lasts.

Internet people tell me they are good for hacking.
