The PlayStation Classic hasn’t been as popular as Nintendo’s NES and SNES Classic consoles… but that’s good news for bargain hunters, because it means you can snag one for $49 off the list price right now.

B&H is selling the retro console for just $51. It comes with 20 games pre-installed. While some are certainly better than others, it’s almost worth the asking price just for Final Fantasy VII, Rayman, and Resident Evil as well as the original Grant Theft Auto and Wild Arms.

Oh, and the system turns out to be surprisingly easy to hack if you want to run other games.

Prefer a desktop PC gaming? Woot is running a sale on refurbished gaming desktops, and Newegg is offering a decent bundle deal on a barebones Intel Hades Canyon NUC with 8GB of RAM and a 250GB SSD.

  1. That NUC deal at Amazon doesn’t really seem to be that special. You’re paying a premium for them to put it together for you. The only question is to whether they are using an MSFT-obtained Pro key or if they went to a discounter (just like you could) to get the key. If it’s MSFT obtained, then you’re paying a premium for a legit, proper key.
