This year Acer started equipping its laptops with Amazon’s Alexa voice assistant to play music, get weather, news and traffic updates, play games, or add items to your shopping list, just to name a few possibilities.

Right now Acer is running a sale, knocking $50 off the price of its Alexa-enabled notebooks. The company is also throwing in a free Amazon Echo Dot, which brings the total savings to $100 (if you were planning on buying an Echo Dot anyway).

So the deal lets you save some money and keep talking to Alexa even when your computer is turned off. It’s a win-win… unless you’re worried about the privacy implications of using an always-listening speaker.

Here are some of the day’s best deals.
