Priced at just $35, the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B may be a pretty inexpensive computer, but that price doesn’t include an SD card for storing the operating system and files and other optional accessories including a case, HDMI cable, and power adapter.
There are a bunch of options for folks that want to pick up a starter kit that bundles a Raspberry Pi with some key accessories. But right now Woot is offering one of the best deals I’ve seen: for $50 you can pick up a CanaKit Raspberry Pi 3 starter kit that includes a 16GB card with NOOBS software pre-installed, a power supply, case, heat sinks, and HDMI cable, among other things.

As the first commenter correctly assumed, this is NOT a deal, as it is an attempt to unload the old version of the Raspberry Pi. ‘Iffy’ deal even if it contained the newest Raspberry Pi 3B+; do the math.
Pass.
I think it is a good deal for those who like the ‘trailing edge’ of technology. When the newer comes out, the older comes down in price. If one does not want to buy the newer, the older is more affordable.
This kit appears to include the previous version of the RPI 3, from the pix and specs. The current one is the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ (https://www.raspberrypi.org/products/raspberry-pi-3-model-b-plus/).
