Samsung’s Level On wireless noise canceling headphones may not be in the same class as the latest high-end Bose or Sony models. But they’re also a lot more affordable: I picked up a pair when they were on sale for $70 last year, and I’ve been very impressed with the noise cancellation, sound quality, and battery life.
Now Samsung is selling them for just $60 through the company’s eBay store, which is an even better deal.
While I’m not an expert on wireless headphones or noise cancellation, I will say that Samsung Level On sounds way better than the popular Cowin E7 noise-canceling headphones. Cowin’s model has a muffled, bass-heavy sound, while Samsung’s provides a more neutral sound (and there’s an Android app that lets you adjust the EQ).
When I’m around the house or going for a walk, I tend to wear a pair of cheap, light-weight earbuds. But when I’m on a bus, train, or airplane, the noise cancellation makes the Samsung Level On headphones a better option.
The only down side is that the Level On headphones pinch my ears a bit if I wear them for more than an hour or two at a time.

ear pinch is a dealbreaker for me, i have a larger than average head
Why is $70 this year better than $70 last year? 😉
I have an older generation of the Plantronics NC BT headset, which I bought for airplane flights but continue to use for phone calls and even when I don’t want to hear my wife’s TV. Very happy with it, but they cost more than $70 ($130 if I recall). I had a much older set of Sony NC headphones (not microphone) and they were simply noise cancelling by adding a bunch of annoying white noise.
Brad meant $60 ($59.99). He has had a bad week of typos.
Tell me about it while I check out this deal on a Gogle Home and check out the games retailer Green Mane Gaming (sorry Brad)
*sigh* sometimes I miss working in radio, where nobody could see your typos… (They just heard your mispronounciations)
Don’t worry about it. Some of us chuckle, some might get annoyed, and some just need something to do.
And some of us are just confused! 😉
