Dell’s XPS 13 line of laptops are are thin and light and they were some of the first laptops with super-slim bezels, allowing Dell to cram a 13.3 inch display into a notebook the size of a typical 11.6 inch model (by 2015 standards anyway… the thin bezel trend has caught on, so that distinction doesn’t make as much sens anymore).

The XPS 13 also has a relatively affordable starting price of $800, but that only gets you a version with an Intel Core i3 Kaby Lake processor, 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The cost of additional features like a touchscreen display, faster CPU, and more memory and storage can add up quickly.

But right now Dell is offering $100 off a model with a Core i5-7200U processor and 8GB of RAM or $150 off a model with 8GB, 256GB, and a Core i7-8550U CPU.

If you’re willing to settle for a processor that’s 2-generations old, you can also buy a model for $400 off from the Microsoft Store. It has a QHD+ touchscreen display, a Core i7-6500U CPU, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage
