Smartphone maker OnePlus plans to unveil its next smartphone on June 20th. But we already have a pretty good idea of what the OnePlus 5 looks like, and now Amazon.in has given us a pretty good idea of what kind of hardware to expect.

As noted by Evan Blass, the retailer’s OnePlus 5 landing page includes details about the phone’s processor, and if you dig through the page source code there’s also information about the phone’s memory.

As rumored, it looks like the OnePlus 5 will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, and it also looks like it’ll join the small, but growing number of smartphones to ship with 8GB of RAM.

The phone will be available in India exclusively through Amazon at launch, and it’s expected to go on sale in that country June 22nd. I suspect that means there’s a good chance that’s the global release date for the phone, although I suppose it’s always possible that OnePlus could choose to sell the phone in India before making it available in other countries.

Update: OnePlus has shared the first official picture of the phone, and it looks like the leaks have been accurate.

    1. 12GB isn’t enough for gaming.
Need 16GB… and two camera’s need to be on the back corners separated by at least 90mm space, and the two camera’s need to be on the front with the same spatial separation for better quality photography, 3D capturing, AR-VR applications, and biometric security enhancements.

      1. And it should be small enough for my pocket and very cheap for my wallet. Operating system should always be up to date for at least five years.

  1. When OnePlus One was out, I was awed with it. I bought one, solid quality and nicest specs. I used it for almost 3 years, until it’s screen shattered when the phone sorrily missed my pocket. Looking for a new phone, I was let down by Oneplus: In my opinion, they started to compromise with Oneplus 2, X, 3 … I would like to see yet a new phone with the wow factor. Today I would not expect less than: QI wireless charging, Fast charging, Waterproof, fingerprint and retina scan, and most important (at least for me) screen ruggedness: A shatterproof screen, like Motorola’s X and Z force.
