HP’s 2017 Spectre x360 convertible laptop may be thinner, lighter, and more powerful than last year’s model… but with prices currently starting at $1070, it’s also more expensive.

Last year’s model, on the other hand, is still a pretty great little laptop, and if you’re OK with buying refurbished products, you can score a pretty great deal: Newegg is offering a model with a Core i7 Skylake CPU, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage for just $769.

If you want a pretty big spec bump, Woot is selling a $980 model with a 2560 x 1440 pixel display and twice the memory and storage… but it’s also refurbished.

Here are some of the day’s best deals.

  1. I may end up regretting it but I bought that higher-end envy x360 from woot last night. (btw you have it mislabeled as i5-7500u in your link, it’s an i7. kaby lake, even). I just couldn’t pass it up.
